Never smoked it, never associated with people who smoke it, and I never plan on trying it.

But it's a damned leaf. It's a leaf that some people smoke to feel good.

I fail to see how this is of government's concern.

Money and control. When the government can't regulate it or control it, they make it into a war. That way they can brain wash the people that they are fighting this war for "their own good". I wonder if it all gets legalized if people really will grow their own or just buy it from places like the Zetas cartel in Mexico?
