My Mother received her last rights today. Prayers Please

Sorry to hear this. Lost my mother and mother in law in 2008 from cancer, it's tough and no words can be said but you will make it

I’ve not said anything on here. My mother has cancer and has been placed in Hospice care. Her nurse told us that her passing would come within the next 3 weeks. Personally, I don’t believe it will be that long. She can’t eat. She can’t rest. She is just wasted away to almost nothing. Cancer has ravaged her little body. I have told her I loved her. I’ve told her I could not have asked for a better mother. I have told her we want her to comfortable and not worry. Even in her weakened state she squeezed my hand and said “it going to be alright!”.

I would ask that if you have a moment please say prayer for all of those who are suffering from this affliction. They do not an easy road to travel.

Prayers for you and your family. I heard this at a good friend’s funeral years ago.
You will be with her far longer than you will be without her. God promised.

Cancer is terrible. Spend what time you can with her.

Does your Mom have Jesus as her Lord and Savior?

If not I would ask her to ask Jesus to come into her heart, forgive her of her sins.

And her to thank Him for dying on the cross to pay for Our sins!

The irony is that accepting Christ only takes seconds while eternity is never ending. Hopefully that sweet little mother has prepared her heart for the inevitable.
