HAhahaha Dave and to think I was gonna get together with a few friends maybe GED and BB and JB and some other trouble makers and come into your house and scare the wife and kids! no I gotta think of something else to do next weekend! :cry3:

Kid in the first case had the best line I have ever heard. Some who have heard the story before might remember it.

As he is staring up at me with the barrel of the revolver burrowing into his forehead, he says "Obviously, I am at the wrong house." I told him, "No matter how you want to take it, yes you are."

Sunny Afternoon. Get back in car at gas station after paying. Must have walked wrong cause some psycho woman is suddenly standing in front of the car screaming and gesturing. Motions like she is going to shoot us with her fingers. I pull out pistol and lay it on dashboard. Didn't think her heritage would have allowed it, but I swear she went pale and left.

Did you fear for your life or your safety? I'm not being a smart ass but I hear this too much. A gun is not to threaten it is to save your life.

She thinks were all just a bunch of sweaty gun totin, malboro smoking, dip snuffin, baby spanking, front porch sitting, potato peeling, pheasent hunting rednecks!

You can tell her she is right on a couple of points only. I do get sweaty when I work and I do peel tators for some dishes I prepare, but I smoke Pall Malls, have NEVER dipped snuff, do not hunt pheasant, and only spank my baby when she is feeling kinky. :naughty::naughty:

Yes.

Safety was big concern. Crazy woman, yelling and screaming. Making threatening comments and motions. Car was boxed in. Gun was not used as a threat, it was used in response to a threat.

Short versions:

First Case:

2AM after Lawton-Ike football game many moons ago. Nice evening, windows open. Hear fence gate open. Investigate. Guy opens front door and starts to come in. Wife and daughter screaming. Guy gets imprint of S&W 66 in forehead. Couple more ounces of pressure and...well.

Lotta people talk tough and say "well I would have pulled the trigger." Easy to say. I'm glad I didn't. Idiot in the wrong place at the wrong time with an elevated blood alcohol level. And in this case, I wasn't the idiot.

Second Case:

Sunny Afternoon. Get back in car at gas station after paying. Must have walked wrong cause some psycho woman is suddenly standing in front of the car screaming and gesturing. Motions like she is going to shoot us with her fingers. I pull out pistol and lay it on dashboard. Didn't think her heritage would have allowed it, but I swear she went pale and left.
