Needles California is to become a 2A Sanctuary City?

I was helping my aunt and uncle move from San Jose back to Oklahoma in 1987. Stopped in Needles that first night on the road. I think it was 110 that day? Got bit by fire aunts hooking up all the hoses and stuff to the trailer, tried to swim in a pool but the water was like lukewarm pee due to the heat and not very refreshing. Never wanted to go back..... now I have a reason.

Yeah, we drove through Needles when we moved from Vegas back to Ok in 2004. I think we might have even stayed there, can't remember. I try to forget that trip (I drove the 27' Uhaul that was towing a 2000 Monte Carlo while my wife, step son and niece drove behind me in our 03 Tracker with a cat who wouldn't shut up, was not a fun two days worth of travel).

Needles ---- the town with the highest gas prices in the nation. Or so it seemed when traveling through there.
