Tube. Pic is offhand at 35 yds. Dead center but 4" high. I suspect its zero'd for 100. Fun gun to shoot. Moderate soft recoil, and 3 o'clock ejection with my 200 grain pistol loads.

Chrony time.

I had one for quite a while. They are fun to shoot. Mine had the tube mag.

The one useful piece of info I can pass along is that Ruger strongly urged you not to shoot cast bullets because they foul the gas system and it's apparently really hard to get unfouled.

So, jacketed bullets would probably be the way to go.

I never shot mine over a hundred yards, and it had open sights. My groups were three inches on a good day, shooting my 240 grain handloads. Killed some hogs, armadillos, a feral cat, and some turtles, but never did any deer hunting with it. Sold it in the FJ Cruiser fund raising campaign, but sort of wish I hadn't.
