New COX cable layout?

My wife just called me and said that the Cox DVR layout has completely changed...does anyone here know anything about it?

She's not happy that ALL scheduled recordings are lost and need to be reset.

What's the deal?

there was info sent out and I believe a call as well over a month ago letting you know advance notice....they updated their system and improved a lot, but I am not too keen on a few of the changes....

they changed the entire menu system and updated to a new platform basically. The menu and software running it hadn't changed in probably 15 years.

I believe they are changing it for all cox customers that have a box.

We received a mailer a few weeks back that detailed the changes. Trying to steal some customers back from Dish customers. similar layout. I do however like the search feature.

The only scheduled recordings that I lost were series. Overall I like the new software better that the old SARA software.

BTW, my wife does not like it either. It is just going to take her a little time to get used to it.

Don't recall a notice - although if it looks like more junk mail it gets thrown in the round file.

The upgrade was just for okc tulsa has had the new system for a long time. It the same thing tulsa is use too.

Not sure I like the layout of the guide. I can't hardly read it. At least not as easily as the old format.

I hate it, My wife on the other hand LOVES it. Not sure why though...
