The new recorded shows list sucks, I can't seem to be able to group by shows anymore. Oh yea and the only notification we got was two days after it was upgraded.

They've been airing commercials for a couple of months, saying it was supposed to happen in Sept 2010, but we didn't get our update until at least a week into October.
We didn't lose any DVR scheduling, either. It seems to run quicker, I'm impartial on the new design, I'll get used to it.

They notified us twice before and once after and we got a mailer two weeks ago and yesterday on the changes.
Sure it's a big change, rainman, but it's ALOT better.
The DVR functionality is alot more intuitive and it will "smart" capture shows that don't run standard times. instead of capturing an hour and cutting off the end of a show that runs 62 minutes, it will capture the entire show without having to be told to go an extra two minutes. it also has a setting for sporting events that run long.
All of the functionality of the old system is there, they've just added more.

ya they changed it in delcity to, i don't like not being able to extend rec. times, like for show that run over the time slot. it shuts down and you miss the last few minites .....
Not sure if it's always been this way, I've never noticed it if it has, but I like how when you're fast forwarding through commercials and the show starts back up, you've usually skipped past the first few seconds. Now the system takes that into consideration and instead of resuming play from the point where you hit the play button, it takes that point and starts resuming a few seconds before. No more having to rewind just to catch the first few seconds after a commercial break.
to group shows you have rec ..... press dvrlist button , then the yellow a button this gives you group titles..........
Same here. The wife does not like it either.
I switched to dish network 2 months ago and I will never go back to cable.
