Just thinking out loud.. if you get froggy and want to make some round balls i have all the stuff to make some .490" ones.

I have a Lee 90448 mold and a lee bottom pour pot and a bunch of soft lead and other lead.
I have some fffg from Goex in a steel can 16 oz no smell and dated with a marker on top of the can december '77
Might even punch out some leather wads.
I also have a punch i made to punch out round patches.. do about 15 at a time, just folding up the pillow ticking.

Just saying if you get froggy becker_atc

There ya go, that's a offer worth takin. I'm pouring some .390 balls this evening.

No. :) but i will take it through the weeds and trails and sleep in it

Get that bucket filled.. almost all my daily drivers were junker old hot rods that i had to build.
I like it better that way..My 57 after i pulled the old cast iron power glide that still works!.
I stuck in a TH350 i built and then i pulled the still working but just started missing original 283 and stuck in a
350 that i stuck together with 10.87 actual compression and a small 260H comp magnum cam 215psi cranking pressure.
Since the title is new to old school..I have always liked old school.
Of course my work truck is a mid 13 second 1947 dodge truck that i also built from a shell. 18+ MPG larger cam than the '57 and more cranking pressure.

I'll build another '78 Malibu w/400sbc, 268h comp cam, vortec heads, holly 750, TH350, and 3.90 rear, plus a few other go fast goodies. Lotsa cheap grunt.

Made the Dec 2004 issue of Chevy Hi Performance as a Father/Daughter build.

Since I blew it up and it made Lotsa black smoke, it kinda fits in black powder section lol.

Nice rides!

H&H also has the real BP. Talk to Zeke about it.

Some of the new counter folks aren't aware that its kept in the back room, not up with the subs like pyrodex.

Lurker do you still have that 78 malibu ?
Did she run quicker than 14's????? Awesome father daughter time , don't get any better.

Becker get that thing out more and roast the hides man!!!
You can have my fffg i use pyrodex and my son used 777 for best accuracy.

I never took pics of my rides until about 10 years ago as my friends were on my butt for not doing so.
Here is a pic a 70 year old lady took of my 1947 dodge work truck , I was at her house repairing a wall that had termite damage.
The best photographers are grandmothers.
The truck has ran 13.51 and will go 150+MPH on open road.
Stuck it on the dyno at the shop MoBoost has and it ran 167 MPH at 6500rpm in 3rd ..TH350 3.25 gears
It will pull past 7000. but loosing power.
It has a 268H in it ground by willhoite cams with the intake and ex closing points changed vs the stock 268H
One of the slowest 350's i have built.. but it was a work truck MPG build.1947.jpg

You will not be taking time from my 57,, come by whenever.. I have a messed up shoulder at this time so i do have some free time. Must take it easy so it can heal..So i am told.
