The British need to mind their own business. Learn from our mistakes in the past and their own as well. The IRA needs to go back into full force and get their attention.

You think the IRA should go back to killing innocent civilians and ruining the lives of thousands of people with their misguided terrorism? You sir = FAIL.

I happen to support - and believe that it inevitable - an eventual reunification of the all of Ireland under a single Republic BUT having the IRA return is not the way to go. I am a believing practicing Catholic but the IRA in no way represents anything Catholic - they were basically socialist to hard-core Marxist types who used the cloak of religion to engage in populace terror not just attacks against the "occupiers"

I don't know enough about it to make a good informed decision but I have a friend who's Irish that lives in the north of Scotland so I'll ask him which way he wants to go. He left Ireland because he was tired of seeing the deaths and killings wrought by the IRA but he's very proud of being Irish. He has very strong views on gun control that are opposite mine but I can see where his opinion comes from and we chose to agree not to disagree and not discuss it in the interest of remaining friends.
