That's actually what they said yesterday (well, not the Benghazi part, just the "we're protecting our diplomatic assets" part).Like I said in the other thread, it seems the air strikes are being conducted to keep IS from getting closer to Erbil and our diplomatic mission there. If that is the case, perhaps a lesson from Benghazi was actually learned.
