OK CCW license worth it

Hey y'all,
I moved to OK recently from GA. Had a GA CCW permit so I could campus carry while in college, but since OK has constitutional carry, is there any reason to get one? Really don't want to go take basic pistol class (I already shoot handguns too much as is), but if there is some benefit, I'll fork over the cash. Appreciate any input.

Yep . . . plus, the permit information (5 year only) can now be collected on a 4473 instead of waiting for a NICs check to return a proceed.

This thread made me get up and go look at mine to see if I was still current......mine expires 3-3-2026 and I plan on renewing.

Keep in mind that even with an OK Handgun License, you cannot carry on an OK college campus.

From what I've heard a lot of cops kind of look at a carry permit as a good guy card...........they understand all the background checks you went thru to get one so they know you are not a troublemaker and have been mostly a good guy in life
