I have a jar of Claussen Hot n Spicy pickle spears in my fridge. I'm going to eat them up and toss in a few eggs and see how they turn out.
I was at Reasors in BA on Kenosha and saw cases of half gallon Mason jars but no gallon jars.
Being snowed in the last two days, I have been eye balling the batch I have brewing pretty hard.
A local bar I go to empties a gal. Jar of olives every couple weeks and they are saving me one.
I've eaten a half-dozen of mine so far... they do get better every day. I need to get to work putting another batch up to pickle. Adjust the heat a bit more, etc.
I'm going to eat some pickled eggs, sardines, and olives now.

Dustin the recipe is great. Busted open the jar after 6 days and man are they good! I'm addicted. Ate 8 of them yesterday. The ole lady wanted to get a hotel last night! LMAO!
I busted in to mine today as well after a few weeks. Good recipe. I am considering some home brewed pickled jalapeno slices/halves. The jalapenos are good as well as the sliced onions.
