Piston rifle 22lr conversion question

will this work??? Someone said that i need to take the piston rod out??? But from what i understand is that it is blowback operated and i should have any issues??? Any one ever tried this?

nevermind... emailed CMMG and they said i have to take the rod out to be able to use it

I've had the best luck with the adam's arms piston kits. And you can take out their piston rod very easily and quickly.

yeah.. mine was put together by CMMG not a drop in. i have actually never taken it apart.... wonder how hard it is?

You would have to take the whole thing apart, it's not the easiest

yeah i know. i would have to take the fron off then, remove the piston, then put the front block on.... whew,, ill just spend the cash and get a dedicated 22lr
