Question for Type 2 Diabetics

I have sores on my legs, not open sores, just spots that won't go away. Can anyone suggest a cream or lotion that would help me heal? Thanks.

Go see your doc. My Uncle was T2D, wouldn't control it, had sores on his feet, let go, turned to gangrene, lost his foot and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Go see your doc!

Listen to the guys that say “Go see your doctor.” Diabetes is not a common cold and is not to be treated with home remedies. I’ve seen many diabetics lose the race.

Agree with see Doc. I’d suggest your reg Doc first if already diagnosed with T2D, but would definitely consider a Dermatologist as well = ASK your Primary, but do it. Good luck

Regular Doctor will give you a referrer to a Wound Doctor.

Define cured. T2D (and insulin resistance) can most certainly be reversed, and further cellular damage stopped. I've done it. Some damage even repaired. Not cured from the standpoint of going back to the way it was with resuming the old eating sugary and carb ways or curing permanent damage already done. Diabetes is. by A1C, defined at 6.5 or higher. Mine was at 12.2 when I was diagnosed. Last 4 A1C checks have been less than 5.4 and as low as 4.9.
