Racing pigeon?

Some kids I went to school with, their dad raised pigeons, they lived a block south of me. Every evening he let them out and they be flying circles around their house. Those guys could haul a$$!

Just got back from seeing the grandson and the bird is still here. I guess he found a new home. @KroyWen, we have a bird bath but I haven’t seen him in it.

Guess it doesn't want to drink bath water.

We gave him seed and water. I checked on him about 6:30 yesterday and he was still there. My wife was on the phone talking to her mom and told her about the bird about 7. I checked again and he was gone. Maybe he was a racing/homing/carrier and resting up for the next leg.
