I got away from the sponge technique and did a true rattle can on this one. I cut some stencils and did the near/far technique with them to soften or crisp up the edges. Last step was a light green overspray to soften things up a little. Not terrible I guess.

Now that's a true rattle can gun. It ain't supposed to be pretty or artistic...it's supposed to be functional. Good job.

I enjoy refinishing firearms quite a bit. So much so that just about every rifle I purchase will get some paint and I paint my close friends rifles as well. I hope to get my paint booth setup soon in the back of the studio and get started in duracoat. That may be a little distance away for the time being.

If you ever plan on doing this fore real...I have 300 blackout I am building that I would love if you worked on!
