Well I repalced the airbag this afternoon and when I reconnected the battery it didn't go off. It was easy to do. Again thanks for all the help.
Some SRS computers have to be sent back to the factory to be "rebuilt" or reset after a air bag deployment.
Also, some vehicles have seat belt tighteners built into the latch that has to be replaced or it will light the light.
Search You Tube and see if they show how to read the code, and reset it.

Thanks Old Timer, 1996 Jeep Cherokee has a mechanical air bags not electronic. After the install no check lights on.
