When the Watts Riots, and later when the Detroit riots occurred, the business owners protected their own property with personal arms.

I saw the news on Friday night where the business owners in St. Louis have done the same, other than the same footage that keeps being recirculated that makes people think the looting is going on.

She said she was glad we had guns incase they came here. lol

A week later and the crowds are still at it...because PC has been interjected into LE. The bad guys have seen the good guys get tangled up in trying not to look bad in the eyes of the media. The bad guys have been empowered by the lack of legitimate police action on legitimate crimes-looting, destruction, arson.

How long has this been going on?

March 05 1770.

Citizens were fired upon while protesting in Boston. Once referred to as the Bloody battle of King Street, Today we call it the Boston Massacre.

Soldiers of the Crown were called out to protect businesses from riots and looters and fired into the protesters. 5 protesters were killed, Ironically the first citizen killed was a black male. All soldiers were white.

Later the Capt was aquitted and eventually all soldiers involved were aquitted as well. This led to public outcry and resentment.

This protest, followed by rioting was eventually used by the founders as grounds for the American Revolution.

Some patterns never change.

Jeeese, your such a bad ass.

Priceless.

Can't tell if that was directed at me? Guessing not, since my stance is NOT to stand in my business and try to defend it myself against a mob...like a bad ass.

But Heck, who knows...it seems that your goal on OSA is to comment on EVERY SINGLE THING you can, regardless of whether you make sense or not - guessing you're trying to get your post count up to the magical 30,000?

Hey, if that's the case...TROLL away!

Not trying to defend looters but I'm wondering does your opinion of thieves extend to those in Gov. positions? Are those in Gov. positions who embezzle public funds, falsify time cards, stay home or work another job while collecting a Gov. salary, or sleep on the job thieves? Should they be shot?

Embezzlement in major cases yes. Others should be restitution at 10x the $$ taken @20% interest.

Looters are the lowest scum of thieves. Only slightly above politicians.

Knowing right from wrong keeps most a somewhat society.

Suffering the punishment prescribed by law keeps a larger percentage.

More severe consequences a larger percentage.

Capital punishment is a deterrent.
