I am going to buy another .22LR pistol for taget shootig and am asking for your opinions on which to choose: Ruger Mark III or Browning Buckmark. Why?

Well after reading all the comments below I ran out at lunch and bought the Buckmark! Can't wait to go shooting this weekend!

I have owned both in the last year and i like the buckmark better.It feels smoother to me. Both are great guns and will serve you well. Happy shooting.

I disagree. I have both a Mark III Hunter and a BuckMark UDX. I think the Ruger has at least the equal if not better trigger and the operation (slide action) of my Ruger is far smoother than my BuckMark. I personally like the build quality of the Ruger better.

Breaking the Ruger down is absolutely not a problem, after the first reassembly, one could do it over and over with no problems.
