Personally if I were Roberts, I would let Obama and cronies go on the political talk shows this weekend claiming it is not a tax, then Monday announce he is reversing his opinion because it is only constitutional if it is a tax.

Why is "progressive" a bad word? Shouldn't we want progress? Shouldn't we want to move forward? There's an old adage that says, "time stands still for no man." It doesn't. Things change.

If you properly close the loop at the bottom then this is correct. Understand that revisionist history has seperated Fascism from Communism. Prior to WW II there was no distinction, and I make none now.

But what I'm saying is that 95% of the Rs and Ds are statist. Doesn't mean they're Commies or socialist.
Hell, even Obama isn't a very good socialist, but he's a Grade A statist just like the slick-haired babykisser Romney. And Jim Inhofe. Coburn a little less so.

So if anyone here thinks the gubberment should be responsible for healthcare or education or labor or that the .gov should have a say in gay marriage and most other social/religious issues then enjoy your new status as a statist.

After some thought, if you the position that Statism is the highest order of anti-freedom, and that the other '-isims' are the various applications, I would agree. Unfortunately, the use of Statism does NOT seem to have the negative connotation of Communism. Therefore, to be accurate, I still prefer to call it Communist behavior.

EVERYONE, including the former practitioners of Communism, understand it is wrong. Well, except for liberal U.S. subjects, Castro, and their fans.
