Alright OSAers. Share 'em here.

I've never been much of a New Year's Resolution guy. I've always said if it's that important, than it's important enough to start now insteakd of waiting until January 1st. However, my belly would show how that approach has worked out for me so far. :-)

I've decided that maybe Jan 1 is a good starting point and I might as well try it now. Here's my list.

1. Set an alarm and wake at a specific time each day in order to spend time reading the Bible and in prayer to start my day. I work from home and normally don't wake until about 7-7:30 then just need to head straight into the office and get to work.

2. Treat my body like a temple. Not setting some number of pounds or foods to stay away from. Rather, I want to run my decisions of how I treat my body through the filter of does this honor God and treat my body as a temple. This includes food, exercise and dumping snuff.

3. Pray with my wife each day. I always pray in the evening with my kids but normally don't do this with just my wife.

1). Continue to lose weight and get healthy (I've got about 90 more to be where I want to be)

2). Get closer to God.

3). Be the best husband, friend, boss I can.

4). Bank more money and pick up some more rental property.

5). Travel more.

6). Get rid of a lot of unnecessary stuff I own.

I made no resolutions, resolution driven changes rarely stick. I had a rough patch in 2012 and have made a lot of changes that I will continue to work on, that's the promise I made to my self and my family no need to wait for a new year to begin those.

I have had to learn to be a better husband and father and am continuing to improve as a person.

I lost 30 pounds of weight and am continuing to be healthy and have begun running.

I found God during my trials.

Most importantly I have learned how to be happy and got help for my problems, and am continuing to learn how to be a better person.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and sincerely hope that you too can make positive changes in your life.

Finally finish the projects in the garage, primarily a reloading area and storage shelves.
Finish the wiring and insulation in my shop so I can get back to building things.

I started my resolution on 12/21/2012. Its not much, but i started doing pushups everyday, i started at 20, and am adding 10 every week. once a day, sometimes twice a day, but mandatory to do the minimum, so far im feeling good, i figured everyother week i could add another activity maybe running, maybe weights. Sorry about the run-on.
