For 2-3 times what they were selling for a month ago,
Do you sell the parts to them for 2-3 times higher?

Or, "we are a community" and you sell it to them for what?

I will usually sell whatever I have for about what I have in it depending on what it is. I cant in good concious sell a 4.99 (what I paid) box of ammo to someone for 15 bucks. Nor will I pay that, at this time. I am just starting out so I dont have much in the way of AR stuff other than what is on my rifle.

If they are reselling then I would charge market value, if they are building for their own use and I can help them out then I will. With the restriction that I get first option to buy the parts back for what I sold them for.

I buy and trade and sell guns all the time. Usually sell them to pay an unexpected bill. I have no problem charging 2,3,5,10 what I paid for a gun to someone I don't know, and have no problem telling them what I paid for it. This to me is not price gouging, this is a luxury item. You do not need it to survive on, it's a want. If it was food or water, clothing or something that was needed, now that it a completely different story. If you needed it for your family, I would give it to you. There is no way I would take advantage of the unknowing, but the people out there are buying to hoard or to sell at a higher profit.

For those of you who don't know surjimmy, your loss. Everything he said he would do, he has. I have seen it. One of the best guys on this board. Wait, one of the best guys anywhere. Everything he said in that post is right on and should be a commandment or, as we call them, a sticky.

I always appreciate when others help me out and therefore like to help out where I can. I don't sell anything in times like these because I don't want to see it resold for 3-4x... If I see a seasoned member needing what I hav I'll hook them up. Seniority has its benefits...
