I think when I get my ATI 1911 I'm gonna order a case of ammo and see how long I can go before I get a stoppage. I've already got four CMC 8 round mags and some nice double diamond cocobolo grips for her, and a el paso saddelry leather holster.

Is it ramped?
Does it lock up nice and tight?
Hows the magazine?
Is the front sight a post or dovetail?
Hows the trigger pull? much take up?
any FTF or FTE's?

I have a Rock Island, and mine also is super value. May not be as pretty as your Colt or Kimber, but what value for the dollar!
