I own two Tags. Love them. One is a Professional that I wear daily and the other is a Link model for special occasions. I haven't had any problems at all with either watch. The professional is bullet proof. The case is made from a solid block of stainless steel. I wear it everywear (ocean, lake...you name it). Only maintenance is to replace the battery. I don't think you can go wrong with the purchase of a Tag.

To the OP: Tags are good watches, but weather or not it's right for you depends on what you want it for.

The reality is, while a Tag is a quality watch, it doesn't have the prestige value that you might think it does based on some of their marketing.

For the casual wearer, a Tag will give you many years of reliable timekeeping and will probably look pretty smart when you wear it, too.

I owned a Tag chrono many years ago before I really started learning about watches -- I liked it, but I sold it to buy an Omega.

Here's my current daily-wearer Omega X-33 on duty:

If I were going to spend that kind of money I think there are other watches I would look at instead. The reality of it is most of us just need something that can tell us if we are going to make it to work on time and can survive the shower. Get whatever timepiece is gonna make you happy. FWIW I typically wear Bulova's. They are a decent, good looking watch and I don't have a heart attack if I pick up a scratch or scuff.

Don't worry about it bud, remember the $70 "Rolex" I bought in NYC? It looses about 10 minutes a day, the date switches at the wrong time (or not at all), the bezel had to be glued back on and the band broke.

Your Wenger is looking pretty good..........

And to think I was as proud as I could be with my new Wegner I just got a few weeks ago. :woohoo1:

Now, with all these high dollar watches on display, I feel kinda sheepish.
