Never tazed a snake, but I did rig a neon light transformer to a metal screen in a urinal once. Is that close enough?
Now that's funny right there.
I'm picturing the snake just going broom-stick straight/stiff.
We could call it science and apply for grants. Glue a piece of bread to the cat's back, butter the up side of the bread, taze the cat, throw the cat in the air (several times) alternating between tazing and letting it hit, and see how many times the bread lands buttered side down. See if the taze has any influence. Then move on to throwing snakes.
You college students feel free to use this idea, just put okietool in the grant application somewhere.

Me "10."
DIL "Do you suppose you shot it enough times, it is almost a foot long?"
Me "Hang on a minute, these rotary magazines are a pain to reload and I didn't bring a spare."
DIL"Yeah I think some of the pieces may still be moving."
Me "Is the burn ban still on? I have a butane torch in the back of the pick up."
DIL "Get it out of the garage first."
