First Copperhead of the season.

They’re native to Oklahoma.

The picture of the Pigmy Rattlesnake is off a little. They’re not red.

They didn’t list the coral snake either. It’s rare to see them in Ok, but not unheard of.

I got bit by a copperhead in 1997 it was the least fun thing I have ever done

We had a kid (who knew better) pick up a copperhead at summer camp and got bit.
I’ll remember him saying ‘Uh I think I did something stupid’ the rest of my life.

I remember when I was a wee lad hauling hay one summer, picked up a bale to chuck in
the pickup bed and was eyeball to eyeball with a pissed copperhead that had just got
baled with the hay. That's a waker upper

Not a copperhead, but this little guy was right outside the back porch to the house. First venomous snake we've seen in 2.5 years here.
