The dreaded ‘Reduced Engine Power’ on 06 Chevy

Mechanic just called. Said the performance tune decided not to agree with the ECU. He retuned everything and has driven it multiple times yesterday and this morning with no issues. We’ll see, fingers crossed…

Hope it is a short and you find it. Tunes can be very problematic as well. Seen many a vehicle thrown into Limp mode due to bad code. My son had an F150 Ecoboost with a Bullydog Tuner, wrong or bad gas on the 91 Octane Performance tune and limp mode engaged. GM's seem to take tunes better that Ford's. Not sure about mopar.

Truck was way more consistent today. I replaced the already ‘new’ TPS and throttle body. Did the relearn and it seemed to be ok. Went to meet another member this afternoon and it did it again. First time to happen at highway speed. It’s been ok since then.

I had that happen on a dodge Cummins. Loose terminal on the alternator.
