They didnt make a 7.3 excursion in 09, they didnt even make an excursion after 06ish.. production of the 7.3 ended in 04ish..

Dodge dropped the mechanical p7100 in 98.5, so missed it by a long shot, amd the vp44 wasnt a bad pump, the lack of fuel to it is what killed most of them.

We run narrow chassis, not wide chassis. The 450/550 isnt the same setup as a 250/350. They weigh 14,500ish and frame flex isnt a concern.
That was a typographical error. Our Excursion was. a 2000 Model.

No issues this week. I believe the TPS and throttle body I got the first time was bad. I also cleaned my K&N filter. Not sure if that had anything to do with it but it needed done.

Same thing has been going on with my 06 for a few months. Ive replaced the throttle body assembly 3 times, 2 gas pedals, 1 tac module, replaced all the pigtails to them, ran all new grounds, checked all existing grounds. Pulling my freaking hair out over this.

Been looking for a 2005 ish GM beater truck
I think I’ll start looking for a 90’s f150 with a 4.9 instead
Absolute insanity on used truck prices
anything 3k looks like recycled metal heap and might run good. 200-350k miles
3k-6k looks somewhat better but be prepared for lies and deceit. 150k- 300k plus miles
7k-10k 200,000-300,000 miles be very cautious
