By the way, I deny the infallibility of the pope. He is a man also subject to the temptations of man. Look at the Popes from the Middle Ages; I don't believe they were infallible. Call me a progressive Catholic and you would be close to the truth.

If someone wants a religious section, why not just go to a religious forum? Seems like it would be more appropriate.

There's a knife section at OSA.........I'm not into knives so I don't post there or even look in there. Religious threads always draw from both sides, which is fine with me, yet it seems the the non Christian or non religious don't even want see the word pop up on the screen. It's all just discussion, I don't think anyone's trying to convert anyone, that's between them and the Lord. And if someone believes that there's no God, they shouldn't have to worry about being "converted" anyway, yet so many don't even want it discussed or mentioned at all.

I don't think it's a matter of not wanting to be converted. Not everyone thinks of religion as something positive or good.
