The new Christian Forum

The purpose of the forum would be so that like minded individuals could get together and talk religion. Discussions like this one would stay in General Discussions.
Each religious faith could have their own thread under that forum.
It wouldn't be any different than those that want to talk rimfire guns.

This truly is the stupidest idea borne of this forum in a good while.

Yeah, i have to agree with this. There is very little upside and a huge downside. You think moderation in the rest of the forum is tough at times? Just wait until this idea becomes a reality.

If someone wants a religious section, why not just go to a religious forum? Seems like it would be more appropriate.

For some folks, religion, guns, and patriotism go together.

Is it just me, or do Christians always seem to get singled out?

Its seems like either a Christian forum, or an Athiest/Agnostic forum. Or Christian, and everything else, if you will.

What about Hindus, Muslims, Jews, etc.

Yes... I claim to be a Christian (sometimes I don't act like it, however) but I believe everyone on earth should have the right to choose and practice any religion...or lack of...they
wish without any smart mouth from anyone else.

Flame me if you will....it just seems that way.

My personal opinion is that a lot of the non-Christians have had really bad experiences with Christianity, churches, ministers, etc. These experiences have really hurt a lot of folks.

I'm definitely interested in the opinions of other religions.
