I was shredded on here by one or two guys for the gun show in Lawton a few weeks ago. I deserved it, but I would like a PM from the guy that was so dissappointed. I don't remember off the top of my head who it was, but I'll recognize it when I see the name.

Dave, you should know by now that anyone in the public view will occasionally get shredded. It is to your credit that you acknowledged an imperfection. When valid criticisms cease to move you, you'll be "Metcalfian," and none of us expects that.

I don't understand the post that refers to a banned member, but since you are a sponsor I would think you should be able to get with J.B. and find what you are looking for.

I get shredded by my "public" in my work now and then too. Absolutely hate it, especilly on the rare occasions when it's warranted.

I wanted to offer him two free passes. I don't hold a grudge. The guy was unhappy, I would like an opportunity to turn it around. I have thick skin and realize that when you are out in the public sometimes things get a little sour

How 'bout posting a link to the "above post?" My search feature isn't acting right, and there is more than one Metcalf post to choose from. Even if the OP is banned, his post would still be there. Only guy I recall getting banned forever really deserved it, but it wasn't over gunshow stuff if I recall correctly.

The tone of your post suggests that you are less than happy with the way the site is being managed. I don't think you'll get banned for your post, but if you have suggestions you might state them in a little less combative fashion.
