They have the best resale value of any vehicle. It's incredible how well they hold their value. They actually work well offroad too.

I had a negative impression of the people who drive them, because it seemed like they always cut people off. In carpool we'd even call out our take on whether an FJ we spotted would cut someone off.

I sat in the drivers seat of one and the rear visibility really explained all of that behavior that I saw.

The sales guy made a joke that the people who buy them wear Tapout shirts.

I thought it was Z71 Chevys with 24s and a lift kit.



...that's never been off road.

The Toyota 4.0 is and exceptional V-6 for a truck or SUV. I owned a four door Tacoma that had plenty of power. Very usable powerband.
