So the bear has been hanging out during daytime ours which for hunting is a good thing. Feeder is still upright but I oddly haven’t gotten any action on the camera since this morning. Do you all have lulls on your feeders?

My neighbor put 1000 lb of corn into my feeder twice over the last week (both at about 4 PM). After that, the deer stayed away for 4 hours one time and 12 the other. Maybe the bear smells worse than my neighbor :laugh6:

Here’s a graph that shows the activity by hour over the last week. About half of the activity is from hogs. The highest bars are mostly deer from dawn to about 9:30 and about 5:30 to dark.

How do we extrapolate the activity among pigs and deer from that chart? Is your feeder supplying that intel?

The data is from the Reconyx camera Apple App. I wish there was a way to weed the hog activity out on the graph. In the days before gun season and my trek to OK, I’ll have to manually pattern the deer.

I have the camera set for 3 photos; 5 seconds apart; and a 2 minute quiet period between sets. Not sure what is best for figuring out which way the deer approach and leave the feeder. Probably more photos would be better. Might sign up for the unlimited plan :D

We talking stage left or viewers left? Im trying to decide how much to dislike your neighbors if they shoot him.
Well I shouldn’t post things when I’m half asleep. It’s actually the buck on the right hand side as you’re looking at it not the left.

Some of my neighbors live by the “if it’s brown it’s down motto”.
