You are right on all the chow. Its funny this year. I am seeing corn fields that are always beans. Still plenty of beans up there but its definitely a lot more corn than usual. Everything is very healthy up the right now. Corn and beans. Deer are in really good shape as well. I think its going to be a really good season for sureKansas sure has some monsters. All that ag for them to chow on doesn’t hurt.
I wish I could have gotten a pic with him facing the camera. All he was missing was eye guards. They were pretty small. The middle buck has a nice set of eye guardsThe one in the back is a giant!!!
As long as there's some ag then yes. I've got 4200a in one chunk that I can hunt in KS, zero ag around. It's a fun get away and a chance to hunt something different, but I don't think I'll ever kill anything as big there as I can in OK near ag. This will be year 5 there, lots of scouting, gas, cams and feeders, so far nothing to get excited about imo.Kansas sure has some monsters. All that ag for them to chow on doesn’t hurt.
Steak night!!It’s gonna be an hour and a half round trip to get this one idiot cow out that decided to climb through the fence!
