VW is bringing back the Scout

Why can’t they make the old bodies w updated suspension,axles etc and put a basic easy TBI system like in late 80-early 90 chevy bet they could make pretty good mileage and be what everyone who has owned old trucks WANTS.

Along with vehicle emissions, vehicle safety is probably the biggest reason why. Modern vehicles are better for a lot of reasons, it’s just a little disappointing to see a familiar name with some nostalgia behind it get reused on a modern platform that has little resemblance to the original.

My first vehicle was a '67 Scout, love to have it back. If it's VW and OR electric it's not a Scout.

Just needed a minor fix...
