Congrats. Finished my first build yesterday and I'm hooked. The guys at fbt helped me out as well with one fantastic 14.5 upper.

Completed my first build a couple weeks ago thanks to a a great OSA member and friend. I highly recommend completing an AR build as it gives pride in shooting what you have built.

I'm looking to do a build in the intermediate future, so this thread definitely sparked my interest. First off, congrats!

Secondly, what do you think was the trickiest part of the build, and what advice do you have for someone looking to do this in the future? I've read through the build steps a few times, but am curious if anything surprised you (other than the hex screw)?
