By the way, does anyone have any experience with M&A for AR uppers? I'm kind of looking for a 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC upper, and that vendor had several in the latter caliber at their booth. About $550 for a flat top to $700 for a quad-rail flat top, IIRC. Were there any other vendors with uppers in those calibers?

Don't know where they get their uppers.
but look at their lpk's and stuff.
Its mostly recycled/ altered 16 parts. or at least it used to be.
Lot of used/recond/seconds? thats why they used to be the cheapest at the shows.
Run fer da hills.

On the 3rd Reich stuff, you have to be extremely careful because there are tons of fakes out there. Fake everything....hats, visors, pistols, uniforms, silverware, daggers, etc. Really, how many dinner service sets did Der Fuhrer really have??????

This porridge is too hot ... This porridge is too cold ... :nolike:

It was a good show for us. We appreciate all the support we had from our customers. A special thanks to all the OSA'ers that stopped by and said hello!

Porridge is proabably the only thing that isn't being sold by vendors there! LOL. :bolt:

I think the last time I went with the wife and kids they had far more non-working antiques than modern working guns! Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, really?

You know, I said I wouldn't go back but since I have a ticket anyways I should swing by and pick up stuff that I can't normally find locally.

Prices on guns at gun shows are sub-optimal, but I like shows to get deals on things for which shipping would be expensive (reloading components, etc). I also remember that someone had a good deal on AR magazines.

When a dealer has to pay $160 a table you can bet they have to charge enough to pay the tables and expenses. Exactly why I kept my stuff at home in my store. Can sell at dealer cost and not worry about the added table expenses

Thank you to all those who stoped by and said hi. If I was busy with a customer, I am sorry, I will catch you on the next go around. What a location, people were drawn by the view accross from us. We had a great day. I am sorry so many did not. Maybe there will be something for you tomorrow. I guess these are just what you make them.

added*I did get to meet some really cool people from the OSA forum like BravoOne, that I have not met before. I do wish more OSA members that I have not met would have identified themselves because I always like meeting new people. But they may have been the ones getting the callenders signed accross the way. The view over there was much nicer..

added*I post a picture on the MF forum of a nice Colt Python that John purchased while there. I also traded for a nice Kimber Eclipse II.
