I bought a few lbs of powder here and there, a few boxes of primers (found some small rifle CCI for $25), and bought lots of good jerky

I had a good day... I think y'all have gotten too cynical...

...sure, parking was a nightmare (it was packed by 11:00), yes, there was a lot of junk and high prices...

but remember, the best deals to be had are the people with green zip tied guns...

I sold my Dutch Beaumont, bought a Century Mosin-Nagant 91/30 and some ammo for it and still had cash in my pocket...

I went in with a non shooting antique milsurp gun, and left with a shooting milsurp rifle, ammo, some cash and got to say "hi" to some buddies. I say "Win"!





....oh, and I thought the one table with the meteorites was kinda cool.

I found a berreta M9 labled military issue for only $2100, unfortunatly they didn't take visa

I did buy a "Packin' Tee" concealment shirt and a belly band. Belly band fits fine; the tee shirt is a tad big. If anyone's needing a white Large and is going to the show, I'll trade them this if they'll pick me up a white Medium. That's what I get for being a narrow a**.

It was not the greatest show this time. When I saw a box of Blazer 9mm ammo for 30.00 I thought I might have wasted 10.00 to get it. I did get some carry leather though. Other than that I thought the prices were sky high on most things.

The customer service was definitely less this year, especially from the Clip/Magazine jerk offs. I was out to buy four different types of mags. I asked for the first type, I got a shouted "No!" and they immediately went to the next customer. Didn't even give me a chance to ask about the others. Friggin douche.

I went to another guy and he didn't have two of the types I was looking for, but he had the other two. I dropped $250. I'd think that's a decent sale to one person for magazines.

What happened to the guys who have always been on the north ramp, they weren't there this year (no tables at either ramp)? Last year they had some of the best prices on handguns. They were local but I can't think of the name.

Whats the story with OPS (Eric's new shop) being called 2 A? Anyone know what that means?


XDm's were all over the place from $700 to $569 (I just sold mine so I used it as a marker). I did see one LCP for $289 the rest were $300-$330 (selling one of those too)

Oh and those big gun girls or whatever they are called (girls with big guns ) One of them had whiteout on her teeth which deserved a triple take

I went looking for a nice AK, an AR 180 or a loaded black 1911. We'll I came back home empty handed. All the nice AKs were between $1300 and $2000, I like AKs but no thanks! Very very few Springfirld 1911s so no go there. I found 3 AR 180s, one was trashed, one was in Terminator and was $23000 and we couldn't make a deal on the third. I liked Coye's knive but by the time I finished my fruitless search he had sold the one I wanted. It was my fist time there too. If you want collectibles, antiques, or anything invovlved with the Third Reich go. I had an ok time but it didn't live up to my expectations

I really want a knife from Bill. I wanted to go if for nothing else than seeing some friends that I miss so I'm still sad I didn't get to go.

My feelings are pretty much the same as what many of you have already voiced. I was looking forward to the show and it was a disappointment. I saw tons of older weaponry and a lot of AR accessories down every other aisle.

The only positive point of the show was that I finally got to see/handle the scope I'm wanting to mount on my rifle - a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50. It was a thing of beauty and now I'm certain that it's the one I want.
