If humanity chooses to determine whether that premise is true by consensus rather than by biological imperatives, we are all lost souls wandering in the dim shadows of a self imposed oblivion.
The essence of knowledge is knowing where to find it. That's all well and good. But knowing what to do with that knowledge is another thing all together. No need to worry these bright young minds (or lack thereof), they will just ask AI to answer all their questions and/or solve their problems. Since it's AI there will be no need (even if they knew how) to research on their own to confirm what it tells them.
Exactly. Every person on this forum knows the answer as well.I was watching a YouTube video the other day where the young lady was asking middle-aged to older folks the questions and they couldn't answer them either.
I really wished she would also have asked each of them what political party they were registered with.
They're rationale would be " If a Quarter is 25 cents, then a Quarter hour would be 25 minutes"The number 25 is too obscure for that many of them to answer the same imo. They heard that number some where in relation to time at some point.
Add that to my daughter's take on the majority of the students she encounters at OU, we are in trouble.
"Educated, non-educated, small town, big city it doesn't matter, we're all in trouble lol. Little to no work ethic, those that do work feel their entitled to CEO perks and benefits at entry level, etc."
... and they vote! That's what is the scary part.
