What have you invented/patented/started?

Reading the two year old "New Gun" thread, I saw a lot of people saying they've patented things in the past, or started "two businesses."

What, if any, have you guys and gals created? Did it turn out the way you expected?

I started a penturning company, I suppose, but it's just a hobby. The extra cash is nice, always.

Wood?
I have a wood lathe at home. Its an old antique Delta, but it works to make turkey strikers. I haven't persue'd anything further, and don't plan to.

Wood, Accrylic, Antler, and a few other materials. I'll see if I can figure out how to get pictures on this thing..

I've started many different things, but I have a habit of having like 10 different projects halfway done and never finishing, lol.

I built a guide rod laser for my beretta one time, but the laser module moved before the epoxy set, and so I had to solder it to complete the circuit. Only I got it too hot, melted the lens, and got a big red blob instead of a nice tight dot. Still haven't gotten around to fixing it.

Currently working on an application using OpenCV to draw a target (animated or static) on a TV/projector, and using a firing pin actuated laser like the training modules from laserlyte to shoot a laser at the screen, and tracking the laser with a webcam/Kinect to create an interactive dry-firing experience. Pop up Targets? Zombies? Half Life? awww yeah
