I'm 23 and on my 18th birthday I bought a 72 nova, some one hit me and I replaced it with a 73 nova, armed only with a 150 piece craftsman set I tore into the bad boy. If I can get the tuning right and finish the body work I will have a slick looking high 10 to low 11 second quarter mile car. All of this was done with the Internet and books my mom and dad split up when I was young and he's out of state so it can be done. Be careful cars are just as addict img as guns haha.
You're right about that. Except with me it's motorcycles.
flatwins and i had a couple cool cars. he had a 69 chevelle convertible and i had a 70 1/2 camaro. don't know why we never took a pic of those cars together. that would be a treasured pic on my wall for sure!

That reminds me of when me and my best friend did a complete engine/transmission replacement on my 74 Omega (Olds version of a Nova) in one weekend and then drove it to California for my first Marine Corps duty station assignment. I was 18 and Hot Rod magazine ran through my veins and wrenches were permanently attached to my hands. Good times.
