What is your bump in the night protection?

Yah a lot of people say that but i kind of equate that to having a CCW with out a round chambered. I need me a scatter gun though!

He is jacking one onto the floor for effect its always loaded.

Depends on how big the bump is.
Either 12ga, 45, or 5.56, or 9, or Louisville Slugger.

Emptying mag of M&P9 while sitting up in bed. Take one step out of bed turn 120 deg empty mag on AR while moving to closet. Grab 12 GA empty mag on it from bathroom/ closet entryway. That's all I have for HD plan.

I sleep within arm's reach of my CCW, which is a 3" 1911 resting in the same manner in which it's carried (Condition 1) as well as a 590A1 loaded and chambered with 3" 00 Buck and my wife sleeps on the other side of the bed within arm's reach of a Saiga 12 loaded and chambered with 2 3/4" 00 Buck.

G23 with some gold dots. Easier to maneuver around with than the 590a1 which I would prefer if I did not have to go up stairs to secure the kids. Also nice to have the use of the other hand. Not sure if the wife would grab the shotgun or her glock 26. If all else fails either my tactical Labrador or Boston Terrier will lick them to death.
