Today it's both the old Pacific Salts, simply because, despite the 4" blades, they are light enough that I can carry two and never know they are there, and still need extra vigilance to not pitch them in the washer with the trousers.

Couple more out of retirement for the day, one or both were on or about my person my entire military career, of three/four in that class.
TL-29 (used in military since WWI) and the MIL-K-818 which goes back to WWII and predates any Swiss all-metal scout knife (a mid/late 1950s thing adopted for service 1961).

Solid quality knives and then you want to set them on that nasty ass patch.
You do know that if you look in Webster's dictionary under Squid, it says it's the lowest form of MARINE life.

Hell, a bottom feeder is a bottom feeder. A man has got to know his own limitations.

I always heard that a Marine is only a sailor who can't swim. 🤣
