As God is my witness EVERY. TIME. I've been to the hospital they ask me if I have fallen in the last 6 months. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've told them NO. AND EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they've stuck a bright orange bracelet on me that says "FALL RISK".

The last time I was in the ER, the Doc tried to give me a prescription for pain meds. I told him I didn’t want any, that I wouldn’t take them. His response was that I may need them later. I told him to go ahead, I’ll fill the prescription and when I got home I’ll grind them up and put them in a bowl of water on the front porch and see how many happy cats were in the neighborhood the next day.
