Safe Hell your Watch could blow up and kill you!
Yet another reason why my Rolex is better than an Apple Watch…it can’t blow up, it doesn’t need batteries or to charge, no one can listen to it or track it, and how many of us would be enjoying a thread talking about a smart watch?

January of 2019, last time I wore a smart watch. 7 emails, 2 numbers for calls and texts, 8 social media accounts (work) and everytime I walked near a reader it went off. Took it off, grabbed the Rangeman out of my bugout bag and haven't looked back.

Well at least the watch guys quit calling it an iwatch. I’d love to have a nice Rolex and have a couple of decent watches but the Apple Watch is very convenient and does a lot of stuff besides tell time and date. Kind of distracting sometimes but a great invention.

Well I don’t do watches of any sort but I’m glad you watch types have a safe place to conversate! I did watch some of the videos of the watch rehabilitations and while I could care less about wearing one, those videos did entertain the hell out of my mechanical thinking mind.

I think that they will bring a (small) percentage of people over to mechanical & quartz watches who otherwise would never have known they they'd be watch people. They are handy, and in time will grow the customer base of non-smart watches, just through a natural progression of interest on the subject.
