Congrats two-click, but I want to see some pictures! Let's hear some details! Come right in off the roost? Gobble much? Put on a show? Who's gonna post the first hero picture??
Congrats twoclick! seconds on need a pic and story. 
Nothing gobbling from the roost this morning. They got cranked up around 9 though. Got to play the game with two different birds. 1st one I saw twice with no clear shot, he was a nice mature bird, just wouldnt commit. Maybe if I would have had the dekes out it would have helped. 2nd bird I was calling was on the neighbors property headed my way when the neighbor decides to ride his line on horseback. I believe he did it on purpose, doesnt like me killing "his" turkeys...oh well, back at it tomorrow.
Darla the decoy was hanging on for dear life...........ended up spotting 3 longbeards across the road. Moved about 300y, finally got to where they could hear the slate. They crossed two barbed wire fences and the road into my lap. Pulled the trigger on the back bird. He rolled, got up and ran off with his buddies. Looked for a while but no dice. Watching now to see how many Tom's fly up in the end of the draw.

That sucked. Maybe he will be in tomorrow evening for a remake of the same scenario.
I went out to Kaw for some run and gun action. Never saw tracks, heard a gobble, or anything. Found two morels though. Didn't come home empty handed.
Saw this little guy. He was about 14" long.

Congrats two click. Okie man at least he will likely give you another chance. Did you dump all of your shot out before squeezing the trigger?
