Mine didn’t kick off until after dark except on at one spot, and I’ve finally got a mature 8 point showing up on a regular basis.
My deer activity is almost at zero. I’m guessing they’ve probably found some acorns and are tied up there. One place I hunt I’ve had zero deer in before dark or after daylight.
Acorns are everywhere for us.
I’m blaming the lack of activity where I sat this morning on the eclipse.
