It's the easiest, but far from the best man. Hope you like it, I know some people who like them, but hate the cleaning afterwards.
yea I heard that'll clog up the gas tube over time
It'll be fine for you man. One buddy probably ran 20k rnds through his without cleaning it. Clogged up the tube, block, and port lol. But it all cleaned up
Nordic NC-22's don't use the tube.

They're talking about using a conversion bolt with a 5.56 upper.
I just got a CMMG 22lr conversion for my AR's. Runs great, probably put 200 rd's through last weekend without a single hickup. The instructions say to shoot some 223 through afterwards which will clean out any buildup in the tube. Hav'nt had it long enough and fired enough rd's through to give a long term report but very happy with it now. It transitioned from 22lr to 5.56 in 5 seconds without a hitch. The sights were eve really close at 25yds.
