Nice post JB. I try not to get caught up in wondering how someone could do something so terrible... It is obvious that Mr. Lanza, like all the other recent shooting spree perpetrators, was very mentally ill. No matter how much thought you put into it, the actions of crazy people will never make sense. But we do need to figure out why suddenly there are so many highly medicated, mentally ill 20-something young men going on murder rampages. Something is going on here that isn't right. We all, both collectively and individually, need to better learn how to spot these threats before they mature, and do whatever we can (within the limits of the rights of others of course) to protect our selves and loved ones from them.
