I’m remodeling a house and it has several cox boxes I want removed. I’ve tried calling but cox has horrible customer service which is one reason I stopped using them. What is the best way to get rid of these old service boxes?

Cox cable 2.jpg

He didn't like me taking his picture with that COX cabling mess in front of him.

They used the air plenum as a conduit for their cabling!!!

Screw him

Is that a digital junction box? If so, it may be where your cable line comes into the house. If you cut it off entirely it will disable any option to have cable turned on to the house - cable internet included.

I'd verify it's not the main incoming line before cutting it entirely.

No clue. Hence why I asked if any techs were on here lol. I have fiber from a different company being installed and they didn’t use anything from this box. It says cox telephone on the side.
